Certification: Attendees may opt-out of taking the USC exam on the Friday of the course for a certification exam offered by the American Backflow Prevention Association (ABPA). Please note ABPA has additional requirements.

CANCELATION POLICY: To avoid registration cancellation fees, please inform us at least four (4) weeks before the training course start date if you cannot attend. For any cancellations made within four (4) weeks of the training course start date, you will be refunded 50% of the course registration fee. There will be no refunds for cancellations or course transfers made within seven (7) days of the training course start date.

About Training Courses: The necessary items of local regulations are discussed along with the specific policies and procedures needed to effectively carry out a cross-connection control program.  Public relations are discussed in order to help student’s effectiveness in explaining the importance of cross-connection control to water users and others. The student is also taught how to plan and conduct an actual site survey of a facility in order to determine which type of backflow protection, if any, is necessary for meter protection.

Note: CERTIFICATION IS DONE THROUGH YOUR LOCAL WATER OR HEALTH AGENCY
